Seis Metros

In many of the small villages of the Ribera del Duero many generations ago, it was customary to build wine cellars underground or in caves near family homes. This custom had almost been lost, but it is gradually being revived in various towns in the area by those who are committed to returning to traditional wine-making methods.

The design of this wine label was created for a small family project by new winemakers, who present a signature wine by restoring the facilities of an old underground winery belonging to the family of the project owner. Its name, Seis Metros, refers to the exact depth at which the aging room for this Tempranillo wine is located, where it has been waiting for 11 months before coming to the surface. Its gradient, the sensation of losing light as you descend into the darkness of the cave.

We finish the label with a die cut at the top that matches the profile of the cave's descent.
