Malum Peccati

Malum Peccati is a packaging and naming design. which we created for the Vinyes de Lilith project and which relates to the concept of original sin on a label that plays with boldness and suggestion.

The briefing told us that the design should be fresh and vibrant, closely aligned with the client's brand proposal, and related to the concept of femininity and original sin. In addition, the wine, a Muscat with Sauvignon Blanc, very aromatic and floral, gave us some clues as to the direction we should take.

From there, we developed the naming, «Malum Peccati», playing on the erroneous translation of the Bible in whichin Genesis «Dios indica a Adán y Eva que no deberían comer del fruto del árbol del bien y del mal»The term «evil» was translated into Latin as «malum» which means «apple». We loved this translation error of biblical proportions and used it to develop the entire design concept.
